Written Demands, adremcareers.com Complaints, & Investigations

Demands & Complaints for Wages: If an employer owes you salaries, you can send your employer a written need for payment of earnings by mail, email, text, or other electronic ways. A written need might be sent to the company at the same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for unpaid wages is filed with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be discovered on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements web page.

Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and evaluated, a letter describing the nature of the complaint and the amounts declared to be owed is sent out to the company. To find out more about the investigation process, please examine the Wage & Hour Claim Investigations – Employer FAQs website.

Investigations Launched by the Division (” Direct Investigations”): The Division may perform employer-wide direct examinations of possible infractions of Colorado wage and hour law. If you want to send a pointer, please email the Division at [email protected]. If you want to submit a private claim for overdue wages, you need to submit a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website. To appeal a direct examination citation or one or more Notices of Assessment, a supposed employer may send a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
